As we complete three weeks of sermons on what is next for St. Paul Church in the new church year, today I want to talk about reconciliation and forgiveness.

They are the same thing really.

Christ came to the world to reconcile God and us.   We in turn seek reconciliation with Christ.   Forgiveness for where we have fallen.  Forgiveness for our sins.

Christ came to pay the price for the sins of the whole world.

When we are in Christ we are a new creation says Paul.

That is pretty exciting to me.  I want to be a new creation in Jesus Christ.  I need to be a new creation.
