Light, Love, Truth & Glory

Today we're going to talk about some stuff that Methodists sometimes are uneasy talking about - the Holy Spirit.

While I had intended to dig deeply into John on more of a historical perspective, my study this week brought me to the conclusion a lot of John is about living in the Holy Spirit.

It's a mouthful, but I decided today's service should be called, "light, love, truth & glory."

Light because we are focusing on the light of Christ.  We all continue to pray about being beacons of that light in the world in which we live.  The light of Christ in more powerful than the darkness of that evil that led that little girl into trouble - and often tempts us too.

John tells us when we are wrapped in the light of Christ and embrace the love of Jesus we are saved from our sins.
