Today we can see remnants and rebuilds and humanmade things that are all in a way, inspired by the Tower of Babel.  The remnants include the United Nations, before that it was called the League of Nations, but you also look at political alliances like NATO as being the world's way of trying to make sense of the world.

It's also the world's way of saying, "we can control our own destiny.  We are in charge."

I would hope most of us realize who is in charge.  Take the news of the last two weeks and mix it up in the mash of the past couple of years of pandemic and dare I say most people would tell you - when they step outside the doors of home, they don't have a clue who is in charge.
