This week we relive, in a ceremonial way all the suffering and death.  We lay Jesus in the tomb at the end of the day on Good Friday.  But that is not where the story ends.  We wake Sunday morning and find the tomb is empty.  We rejoice when we come together as the church to again know Jesus Christ has risen.

Jesus knew then, and now, we need a savior, not a politician or a mighty general.
